T-26E3 Heavy Tank

1/35 scale plastic model kit mint in the box and un-assembled. 1939 to 1945 series. About the tank: T-26E3 was developed to combat the German Panthers and Tiger Tanks. It weighed approximately 45 tons and was armed with a 90mm gun. Production started in the fall of 1944 and 20 vehicles were rushed to Europe to be to be pushed into battle in January 1945. All 20 tanks were assigned to the 12th Army Group, with the 3rd and 9th Armored Divisions each acquired ten T-26E3s. This tank achieved great success for the drive into Germany.
