Stereoscope
is in excellent condition. The wood is a walnut and in pristine condition. Lenses
are complete with no scratches or cracks. The picture holder slides up and down
the rail for
focus
and comes with a convenient walnut handle that folds for compact storage. Still
has the velvet around the looking piece to safeguard a person's face. Comes
with 84 cards for viewing. Conditions very. Some are color and some black and white.
There is
approximately
49 colored stereo cards, ranging from poor condition to excellent condition. There
is about 10 with some of the subject matter torn from the card, the
rest
has has some white around the edges. At one point in time the cards were heated
and the paper backing got stuck to the pictures. This paper can be removed to increase
the conditions of the stereo cards. Would recommend a professional restorer. There
is some water damage to the black and white with orange backing. The water caused
the ink to smear into some other pictures. The orange backing cards were made by
Bavarian Publishing Co. St. Paul, Minnesota. The orange cards are written in Bavarian
and show the Passion of Christ. Card numbering 1 through twenty 24. The colored
cards do have a story line have multiple cards to help explain the story. Ten cards
from The Hart Stores and these are in color. A few of these cards are: 10.

Good to very good condition Antique toy. Still in very good working condition. Toy
comes with what is seen in the pictures-Tow horses, one fireman, cart, and one ladder.
I know this toy is not complete. It is missing a
ladder
(I think), and for sure it is missing one more figure that rides on the back of
the wagon. I believe this is made by Kent (Reference I have does not say); so, if
the toy is another maker, please let me know. The length of the piece is about 14"
inches. No reasonable offers will be denied. Click on the pictures to enlarge.
