Not many colonial antiques reside in Minnesota, but that may not stop a enthusiastic wood worker that may want to make a copy of a William and Mary, Ladder back chair, or other great pieces of furniture.

Colonial Antiques Book

The American Heritage History of Colonial Antiques is in good condition, with separating from its binding. Book size is 8.5" inches or 21.5 cm and 11" inches or 28 cm. Published in 1967. Great book with hundreds of photographs of color and black and white. Book contains 350 pages. Table of contents include: Our medieval Heritage, Fashions from Abroad, The Triumph of the Curve, Patterns of Elegance, The Colonial House at Work, From the Rhine to the Susquehanna, Glossary of terms. Many terms easy to understand such as the Acorn-A finial or pendant drop resembling an acorn, often used as decoration on William and Mary furniture or Assay-The test made to determine the quality of metals, such as silver and gold with many more invaluable terms a collector needs. Also gives a collector great examples of what to keep your eye out for. Includes furniture, dinnerware, art, house wares and more.

Antiques Roadshow Book

The introductory guide to antiques and collectables from the most watched series on PBS by Carol Prisant. Book is near mint condition and is a soft cover. Book contains over 600 wonderful pages of text and pictures. Book offers over 40 experts to give the authoritative and reliable input on items.
