These Airplane Plastic model kits come in various conditions. Some are opened and some are still new. Some are out of circulation or discontinued and are highly collectable. All listed are plastic model kits.
Armageddon Space Shuttle Model Kit
Touchstone
Pictures' Armageddon model kit includes Armadillo drilling unit. Revell model is
10" inches in length. Model kit is unopened and still has the cellophane wrap.
Skill level two and contains 55 pieces.
Air Show Combo Model Kits
Revell F-16 and F-18 model kit. Made in 1997 and includes everything. Paint, paint brush, cement. Kit is complete and in near mint condition. Totally unassembled. Kit is missing the cellophane wrap over the box. Scale is 1:48 and is a skill level 2. There is 197 pieces. Models have an assembled length with the F-16 at 11 and 3/4" inches and the F-18 at 14" inches. Decals are waterslide.
F-15E Strike Eagle
Comes with a full assortment of weapons, fully engraved panel
lines, optional position air intake ramps and Canopy, detailed exhaust cones
& "Turkey Feathers", and about $17.00 dollars in paints
included. Partially assembled
kit. Body has partial assembly with glue finger prints, canopy was most likely
done by dad with great care and very little flaws, and a few armaments assembled.
Plenty of parts left for assembly. 1/48th scale and comes with special canopy
glue for the clear plastic. Comes with instructions, modeling knife, paint brushes,
and good paints. Model kit made by Academy in 1991. Skill level 3. Kit looks
complete and there seems to be nothing broke. Examined good for content and
parts. Kit is very salvageable. The real F-15 Eagle was designed specifically
for the dog fighting role, its versatility has lead to the development of a
dedicated ground aircraft which retaining the exceptional performance characteristics
of the fighter version. Most noticeable features of the F-15E are a pair of
bulbous external fuel tanks which are blended between the wings and fuselage
sides. These huge tanks carry enough fuel to nearly double the normal amount
carried by the basic F-15.
Kingfisher OS2U-3
Complete
model kit with all the parts and directions still in original
packaging.. Skill level 3. Features detailed cockpits for pilot and gunner,
build either a float plane or land plane, Decals for two US Navy versions. 1/48
scale. Made in 1993 by Monogram. Includes photo etched metal parts. The Vought
"Kingfisher" float planes performed admirably while serving with Allied Naval
Forces during the Second World War. Operating from coastal airfields and shipboard
catapults, these agile aircraft rapidly became the "workhorses" of the United
States Fleet. Designed for observations but duties did included rescue.
P-38J Lightning
Mint in the box and box is unopened. Scale size is 1:32.
Skill level 2. Features: This was an ultimate combat plane of World War II.
The Lightning was piloted by U.S. Air Ace Major Thomas B. McGuire. Unique twin
boom, twin engine design. Armed with four .50 caliber nose mounted machine guns
and one 20mm cannon. Molded in silver and clear plastic. Authentic Army Air
Corps markings. Made by Revell in 1992. For ages 10 and up.
F-14D Super Tomcat Model Kit
Skill level 3, for ages 12 and up, scale 1/48. Contents mint
in the box, complete, and in the cellophane. Length of model kit
is 14", wingspan 16", has 112 pieces, body molded in Gray, decals are waterslide.

Revell Discovery Shuttle Orbiter
A
very large, but rare model kit mint in the box and complete. No part of the
model has been assembled and contents still in cellophane packaging.
With the loss of the orbiter "Challenger", this commemorates a new shuttle beginning and a new outlook to mankind's expedition in space. This massive Revell Model kit builds into an impressive 1/72nd scale replica of the unique spacecraft. Measuring a span of thirteen inches and a length of more than twenty inches, the Revell shuttle is an exquisite creation. The easily-recognizable shapes of the bunt-nosed, delta-winged spacecraft are captured superbly in this kit. It is the only model kit produced that contains the characteristic protective thermal tile patterns on the exposed external surfaces. It is detailed with tricycle landing gear and hinged cargo bay doors that open to expose a cargo bay ten inches in length. Removable experiment payloads are provided, including the deep-space telescope, that exhibit the versatility of the these impressive spacecraft.

Faller Junkers Ju 88
1950's
Plastic model mint in the package. Model kit has been opened. Scaled is 1:100.
Kit number 1088. Directions are in German, but this model kit is very simple to
assemble. Box is in OK condition.
About Faller: Faller had there beginnings in the late 1940's
and began producing war model kits in the 1950's as secondary source of income.
Stopped producing these model kits in or about 1965. The primary source of
faller's income comes from train model kits that are highly detailed.
Huey Hog
Mint in the package with cellophane covering. Made in 2006. 1:48 scale. Skill level 2 Revell model kit. Includes pilot, co-pilot, twin machine guns, and two rocket pods. Can be assembled with doors open or closed. Authentic US marines decal. Molded in Olive Drab. Length is 10.25" or 26.1 cm. Wingspan is 11" inches or 27.9 cm. Contains 77 pieces. Has a 40mm grenade launcher mounted in the nose. For ages 10 and up. Model cement required for assembly. Kit number 85-5201
MPC Sikorsky Sea King
1:72 scale model kit Kit number 2-1515 mint in the box with all the parts..
Box has been opened. Comes with three sets of decals for building one of three
versions, rotating blades, astronaut and Air-sea rescue platform options,
movable sonar unit, anti-submarine torpedoes. Some take on the side of the box.
Does come with directions, but are slightly faded due to age and is still
legible.
United States most famous helicopter...the chopper that time
and time again hauled astronauts out of the Pacific following each of the Apollo
moon missions. The Sikorsky Sea King is also designed for aircraft carrier
reconnaissance and pilot recovery and rescue work.
P-61 Black Widow
Mint in the box with all the parts. Skill level 2 and is made by Revell. For
ages 10 and up. Comes with 50 cal. machine guns, and four belly-mounted 20mm
cannons, flight crew, radar, long range fuel tanks, rotating top turret,
detailed cockpit, exposable engine detail, decals included for P61-A and P61-B
versions. Length is 12.25" inches or 31.1 cm, wingspan 16.5" inches or 41.9 cm.
Body is molded in black. Box has a crease the top and is in very good condition.
Model kit number: 85-7546 Does come with a Testers plastic assembly mat
and directions for assembly. Does not come with glue or paint.
Northrop P-61 was designed exclusively for night fighting.
The designation for P meant pursuit fighter. During WWII, the P-61 was the most
advanced fighter with high capabilities for destruction.
B-17G Flying Fortress

in the box plastic model kit ready to be assembled. 1:48 scale. Bonus value pack
that comes with three none toxic paints, one medium paint brush, and plastic
model cement. Length is 18.5" inches or 47 cm. Wingspan 25 7/8" inch or 65.7 cm.
About the Flying Fortress: This was the toughest,
strongest and most reliable bomber of the U.S. Army Air Force in WW II. Powered
by four 1200 hp Wright Cyclone engines, it had long range capabilities at high
altitudes. It was nearly 75 feet long and had a wingspan close to 104 feet.
P-38 J/L Lightning
Mint
in the box plastic model that is complete and ready to be assembled. 1:32 scale.
Model kit No. 04701. Made by Revell. Skill level is 5. Made in 2003. Width is
35.9 cm and length 49 cm.
About the P-38: This was one of the most feared fighter of World War II. With its outstanding flight performance and enormous fire power, this high altitude interceptor had numerous successes during during its service with USAAF. Did Pacific theater campaigns and German. The German pilots gave it the nickname "Gabelschwanzfeufel" -Fork-tailed Devil.
