Tamiya Model Kits M60A2 Medium Tank

in the box with all the contents unassembled, fully detailed plastic track, and
ready to assemble model kit. This is a precise 1/35th scale model tank.
Model can be driven forward and backwards using the supplied RE-26 motor
supplied with the kit. Turret main gun and commanders Cupola, and Anti-Aircraft
gun are moveable. Drivers hatch can be opened and closed by sliding. Other
hatches can be built opened or closed. Caterpillar is made of special plastics
with carving on the inner surface for realistic appearance. Includes 2 American
tank crew figures for added model realism.
The M60A2 was developed from the M60 and M60A1 tanks which are presently being used as the Americans army main tank. (This was correct at the time of the model, now most advanced is the Abrams). In 1974, these tanks were positioned along the front lines as the worlds newest and most powerful tanks and became worthy of the name of America's main army tank force.
Age of the model kit is unknown. Best approximation would be the 1980's. Box is in good condition with a tear on one side. Comes with directions. Batteries are not included. For ages 14 and up. Kit No. MT 138
M49A2C Fuel Tanker by ARV Club
Very
realistic 1/35 unassembled and fully complete plastic model kit. All parts are
mint in the box and ready for assembling. Kit comes with photo-etched metal
parts, highly accurate details, steering for the front wheels, rubber tires and
rubber pipeline.
This M49 fuel tanker truck series is developed from M35 2 1/2 ton truck chassis, and M49A2C is the newest on of this tanker family, the basic truck remains as it had been in the M49 form, but continental's model LD 465-1 engine has been used, and it is basically a diesel engine rather than a multi-fuel, although it will accept different grades of fuel as will almost any diesel.
There is little difference in configuration between M49A2C and M49 prototype which was made since the early 1950's. A distinguishing characteristic of the M49A2C model is that the tank was divided into only two compartments of 600 gallons each, and they were made of stainless steal and fitted with baffles. A fuel-water separator with automatic water dump valve was also fitted. The control box behind the tank includes pressure gauge and control rod. The fuel gun and pipeline is out of the right side by the tank and can be operated very easily.
The M49A2C tanker is the main equipment service in many countries' fueling tanker. Such as the U.S.A., R.O.C., NATO countries, etc. NATO versions were designated with M611 and M622.

model kit. Recommended for experienced modelers ages 10 and over. Kit
features 262 highly detailed pieces. The guns move, the tracks a flexible, and
numerous pieces in the under carriage rotate and pivot. Paints, cement, and
hobby accessories not included.
The M32 recovery vehicle was developed to tow disabled tanks
and other armored fighting vehicles. The M32 TRV followed the basic design of
the Sherman Tank.
Airfix Half-Track M3

The M3 Personnel Carrier was produced by the White Motor
Company of Cleveland and was developed from their four-wheel Scout Car which
equipped the American army before its entry into the Second World War.
