1:700 scale Plastic model kit of the Modern Sea Power Series. Kit is in Mint Condition and Un-opened. Still wrapped in factory cellophane. Kit contains over 200 parts. Two types of displays-Either waterline or full hull display model can be assembled. Radar parts are reproduced in Photo-etched part. A new tooled 4.5" inch L/45 Vickers Mark 8 Gun. Photo Etched Parts for railings, different markings for different ships. This kit contains over 200 parts. For Modeler age 10 and over. Box contains one Model Ship. Paint and Glue not included. Received Damage during WWII and was salvaged in 1953.

H.M.S Invincible

1:700 scale Plastic model kit of the Modern Sea Power Series. Model kit commemorates the 25th Falklands War Anniversary. Kit is in mint condition Sealed in cellophane. This super structure was realistically reproduced in great detail. Kit has scaled radar provided by Photo-etched parts, photo etched railing to enhance details, and kit contains over 150 parts. For the experienced modeler. Paint and glue not included. Made in 2007 by Dragon 7072-03 About the HMS Invincible: Was part of the Royal Navy lead ship in its class for 15 years. Commissioned in 1977. Invincible is considered a light Aircraft Carrier.

The Monitor and The Merrimac

Two complete Civil War ships in one near mint condition box. All parts and model kit is complete. Each Plastic model kit is about 12" inches in length. Does not state the scale. Made around 1960. Made by Pyro. B257-200

About the Ships: Confederate Ram Merrimac blockaded the Southern coastal states along the Atlantic ocean, preventing the Confederates from shipping their much needed supplies and war material. Feeling the blockade pinch, the Confederates rebuilt the wooden Merrimac which they salvaged, having been destroyed by fire at Norfolk, Virginia, on April 19, 1861. The Cruiser's superstructure was replaced with a box-like armored cover of 2" inch iron.

The Robert E. Lee by Pyro

Model kit complete and un-assembled. Large Plastic Model kit that is about 2' feet in length. Level three modeler at best. 1960's model kit. One flap torn on the box and the box is opened.

About: The famous Mississippi steamboat, on the finest packets of the time, was employed before the Civil War in the cotton trade between New Orleans and Vicksburg. Business was good, boats paid for them selves and yielded good profits until the coming of the railroad gradually ate into their trade and eventually they disappeared from the river.
