Brass Lion Crackle Glass Bowl

 Crackle glass bowl in mint condition with no chipping on the edges.  Bowl diameter opening is about 6.25" inches or about  15.9 cm.   Comes with the brass stand that does need some polishing and cleaning.  Very good condition with a few small bends along the rim of the holder.  Brass holder has four legs, four feet at its base, four lion heads at the top, and four rings in the lions mouth.  Very sturdy and non rocking.  Nice conversation piece. Antique End table light or antique desk light (I say antique, because it looks antique, not because of its' age) with boy holding on to "dear life" to lamp post. Double checked and it not an angel. Great piece made in the 1960's.  I have tried to research the Item with L & L that is stamped on the bottom, but no luck. Beautiful lamp with just right amount patina. There is a few chips on the boy and in or around the base. The top is held on by two screws. Takes a smaller than normal bulb and is a 40 watt bulb. Top is made out of cast iron and spray paint Antique Table Lamp Postgold. Some of the gold is has flaked off due to the heat of the bulb. The top also contains three piece of paper someone at one time installed for soften the light. Anyone can remove, add or subtract the paper to his/her liking. The bottom portion is also made out of cast iron with electroplate brass. This is a fully functioning light that is operating by thumb wheel from about 4" inches from the base. Lamp is complete and cord length  about 4'-6 feet.  Base of the lamp has four feet. Shipping and handling is going to be $26.99. Weight is about 13 pounds.
