Luke Raffin was born in northern Italy in 1955.  He emigrated with his family to Powell River, British Columbia in 1967. Realizing his talent at an early age, Luke later attended the Ontario College of Art in Toronto where he was introduced to egg tempera.   From there Luke developed a traditional approach to his work in a new way and now he is recognized as one of Canada's  foremost bird and wildlife painters.  Framed in oak, two mattes of dark green and and light blue. Picture comes with frame and frame size is 13.5"x13.5" inches or 34mm x 34mm. Insurance value is estimated at $400.00 dollars. Weight is about 2.25 pounds. Hard print to find.
