Small wood Sculptures that are considered art work, can transform a home into one that is more welcoming. The media sold here may be wood, mixed (combination of two ore more materials), stone, molded, cast, and or fired. These sculptures are for the home or office decor. The items selling are meant to be small for shipping reasons-to keep the costs down. Most items listed in sculptures are of wood media.
John Perry Sculpture
Sculpture done by John Perry and is in mint condition. There is a small emblem that bears his signature in the front of the piece pictured. The wonderful white dolphin is swimming over a piece of hardened drift wood. The Drift wood has a nice shine of shellac giving some wonderful textures and highlights. Sculpture is 6" inches in height and about 7" inches in length.
Wood Carved Rhino
Wonderful hand carved rhino. Piece is in good condition because some of the shellac is faded and coming off the top of the rhino. Other then that, the Rhino is in excellent condition. Artist unknown. Piece stands about 4" inches in height and around 8" inches long. Rhino "feels like and looks like" it was carved out of a an exotic hard wood. Piece is light in color then pictured. More like slightly darkened pine wood.
Wood Carved Rooster
Hand carved wood rooster made out of oak. Rooster is in very good condition and looks like it may be over 20 years old. Rooster height is 8" inches. Rooster was stained green and red in color. Artist unknown.
The Emperor Carving
Great looking piece that is in excellent condition. There is some chipping on the handles that the servants are using to carry the emperor. Piece appears to be made out pine and the maker is unknown. The servants can be separated from the emperor. Approximately 13" inches in height and 10" inches in length.
Tai Treasures Wood Carved Vase
Near mint condition vase made in Thailand. Hand carved picture in vase depicting elephants in the forest. Piece is made out of a hard wood, it looks like oak, but not sure. Piece stands 10" inches in height and is hollowed out in the center. Production date unknown, but labeling on the bottom appears modern.
