Dunhill Advertising Sign
Extremely rare Dunhill advertising sign in excellent condition. Cast iron sign is hand painted and is shellacked by a Japanese formula. The sign was produced around the 1930's during Alfred Dunhill's aggressive advertising campaign. Whether or not sign originated from Dunhill shop on Duke St., is undetermined. The aggressive advertising with Dunhill Limited became famous with supplying elite clientele. Such Clientele: ties with royalty, George VI, and Winston Churchill. Dunhill pipes can be identified with the famous white spot. Dunhill pipes are prized possessions among the collectors. Code of arms states on the sign: Honi Pense in the oval. Dieut Mon Droit just under the lions and the unicorn. Sign reads: By Appointment To Her Majesty the Queen Suppliers of Smokers' Requisites. Alfred Dunhill LTD London. Merchants displaying this sign had approval from the queen to sell Dunhill fine tobacco at the tobacco shop. Sign height is about 14.5" inches or 36.8 cm and width of 13.75" inches or 34.8 cm. Weight is about ten pounds. Authenticity has been verified through Dunhill Corporate as coming from the 1920's
Minnesota Common Loon Statue
Bronze loon or Animalier Bronze Loon that sands about 10" inches or 25.4 cm in height. Piece was made in the seventies is in near mint condition. Base is made out of solid oak that stands about 3" inches or 7.6 cm with very nice miter cuts. Loon is standing on a black marble with traces of white. The bronze loon is standing on some cattails and foliage. Artist is unknown. There is a stamping at the 
base that may read: S Koop, Tak Skoop, the signature did not turn out well during the bronzing. Anybody with more in formation on the artist would be greatly appreciated. Special pickup or delivery can be arranged due to the weight of the piece. Weight is approximately 12 pounds. The very bottom or base has a pleather-plastic leather or anti-skid.
Ron Lee Mount Rushmore Sculpture
Ron Lee is the great purveyor of clown sculptures and artistry, molded a small sculpture of Mount Rushmore. If you click on the first picture and see, if it was not for one small clown on a ladder, this piece would not be be funny or collectable. These piece has the 
usual figures in full glory-George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Teddy Rosevelt, Abe Lincoln, and last but least...Bozo the Clown or is it Emmit Kelly Jr.-Worlds most famous clown? Looks more like Emmit. The base is made out of Sardonyx. A milky colored 
onyx with red bands of red sand. The top is made out of ? Not exactly sure, but most likely fire kilned clay that is painted gray and highlighted with a gold color. Limited Edition with numbering 219 of 1950. Felt bottom to protect the valuables. Piece weighs about 20 pounds. Special considerations for pick up or drop off may be taken into account. Length of the piece is about 9.5" inches or 24.1 cm and height is 6" inches or 15.2 cm. Made in the 1988 and in the USA. Second picture from top shows his signature. Clem Wilding
Folk Art sculpture by Clem Wilding with a small carving of a Nuttall's Woodpecker. Found in the Southern Regions of the U.S. Clem Wilding has hand carved thousands of items of wildlife in his lifetime. Lived 
from 1909 to 1989. There is also a museum in his memory. Woodpecker stands about 5" inches with base or 12.6 cm in height. Click on the pictures for a better view.
Whale Carving of Brazilian Cherry
Beautiful Brazilian Cherry carving. A very hard wood that was done exquisitely. Whale balances very nicely on it's front flippers. The picture is not very good, but click on the picture to get a better view. Artist is un-known. Piece size is about 10" inches in length and about 3" inches in height. Weihnachts Pyramide (Christmas Pyramid)
Hand carved in Germany. A traditional Ausfuhrung. Box is all written in German. Piece is complete and in excellent condition. Hand sculpted and painted. This rotating pyramid of Christmas festivities, has 6 six candle holders at the base. These candles generate heat that rotates the fans which are rotated on a shaft. This causes the three layers to rotate. Top layer has trumpeters, the next layer is a Shepard boy and his sheep, and bottom has three kings. Piece requires six small candles. Piece stands about 18" inches or about 46 cm. **This is not a toy. Not suitable for persons under 14 years of age. Do not leave candles lit un-attended. Click on image for a better view.
ST. Bernard Sculptures
